Ajman Civil Defense doused a massive blaze that broke out at a roastery located at the new industrial area in Ajman. No injuries were reported.
Brigadier Abdel Aziz Al Shamsi, director of Sharjah Civil Defense, said that the operations room received information about the fire on Tuesday morning. A team from the civil defense swung into action and rushed to the site. "It controlled the raging fire that was spreading rapidly and had engulfed the entire shop. Huge smoke was billowing in the sky."
"With many factories and shops surrounding the roastery, we cordoned off the site to ensure the fire didn't spread to neighbouring factories. After completing the cooling process, the site was handed over to the forensic laboratory of Ajman Police to determine the main cause of the blaze," Al Shamsi added.
