Keep records of all agency drivers

While it is common practice for many companies to hire agency drivers, it can be more difficult to remain compliant with employer duties than with permanent members of staff. Ensuring agency drivers have all necessary licences, insurance and training can be tricky.

To minimise the risks this presents, we advise that agency staff are treated just like permanent staff members, with the same training and licences required from all. We recommend employers keep a record of all agency drivers, checking that they have been DVLA checked, that they hold a full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence

New Facility To Expand Services For Local Customers

​Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, May 23, 2012 – Honeywell (NYSE:HON) today opened its new Customer Acceptance Center in the Mussafah industrial zone of Abu Dhabi. The facility is Honeywell’s largest Customer Acceptance Center in the region, covering a total floor area of 5,500 square meters. During peak periods, up to 150 Honeywell and third-party engineers will be working at this facility, which enables testing of systems destined for the Shah sour gas field development.

Al Hosn Gas is a joint venture between Abu Dhabi’s ADNOC and Occidental Petroleum. The principal project of Al Hosn Gas is the Shah Sour Gas Field Development Project, which is set for completion in 2014. The project will involve construction of several gas gathering systems, new gas and liquid pipelines, and processing trains.
